As of March 1st 2010, any adult (18-24) applying for their TX drivers license MUST take a state approved 6 hour course if they have not completed drivers education.
Our course is provided by I Drive Safely. This course is an online Adult Driver Education Course approved by the TEA.
After you complete the Texas Adult Drivers Education course, you will have automatically passed the DPS written license exam. This will greatly reduce the time that you will spend at the DPS!
Once you have passed the Online Drivers Ed Course, you will be sent a certificate of completion that states you have passed the Department of Public Safety exam. After you obtain your certificate, present the certificate to the DPS to get your license. Keep in mind, if you do not currently have a license, you will be required to take a behind the wheel exam.
